Well I wanted a light bar for the front of my XJ. I always liked the prerunner style and was able
to find one. It is acctually a universal one. They did not make one for the XJ. It is a strong pice. The bumper will bend
befor the bar does. There are to tabs twards the outer edge that I had to cut off. I have a 97 and they did not make it. There
are 2 other tabs that mount to the top of the bumper. The kit also comes with some L-brakets that would mount to the outer
tabs but I was able to use them with the light tabs in the middle. So the bar is attached in 2 spots from the top and 2 spots
from the front of the bumper. I will be getting some pictures up soon so you can see what I am talking about.
11-12-02 Well I just added some extra light tabs to the top of the light bar and bought a cheep
set of lights for up there. I dont need the really $$$ ones they are just there to shed some light on the trails
I dont see how $200 will do any better.
