Installing Rusty's air tube with a K&N air filter will take you about 10 to 15 minutes. The first thing to do is remove
the air box. Pop the box open and take out the air filter. On my 97, there were 3 bolts at the bottom holding the air box
in. A clamp holds the top of the air box to the hose leading into the throttle body. There is a large open area now where
the air box once was. There should be a stud sticking up that was used to hold the air box in place. You just take Rusty's
air tube and place the mounting bracket on the stud and tighten it down with one of the bolts from the air box. Now connect
the hose from the throttle body to the air tube using the same clamp as before that held on the top of the air box. Then
slip on the K&N air filter and tighten the supplied hose clamp. That is it. Easy to do and no time really involved.
I went with a 3 inch Inside Diameter K&N filter. I also went with a larger one than Rusty sells. You can talk to
him in reference to what he is carrying. However, the instillation is quiet easy and fast. No dyno testing done but from
the seat of the pants test it was worth the investment
