Well I installed Rusty's T-case skid plate the other day. Not bad to install. Had a couple of snags but nothing to big. I had to redrill the mounting holes in the skid plate out. The ones used to mount the skid plate to the cross member. They were to small but besides that it was pretty straight forward. I jacked the plate up under the Jeep. Once I had it all lined up I used it as a guide to drill the holes. There are 3 on the frame rail. They use self taping screws. but make sure you have a drill bit close to the size or else you will be there a while. That was my problem. I did not have the right drill bit so it took a little longer. Use WD-40 or some thing like that to keep the drill bit cool, it will help cutting the metal also. I then drilled the holes in the cross member for the other 2 bolts. That was the faster part. Then bolted it right in. There is really not much to it. Just drill some holes and bolt it in. The part that mounts to the cross member should be mounted about 1/2 way down the cross member. This will leave room if you later decide to put Rusty's engine skid in.
